Anyone ever hear about them? Or own one?

There’s 2 for sale in Denmark. Never heard of them

Momose=deviser

2k isn't a bad price for that. Some of the fancier models go for a lot more.

I was this close 🤏 to pulling the trigger on a sunburst japanese seventy seven (another deviser brand) exrubato jazz, a now discontinued full hollow thinline in '21 but the dude wanted 2,100 which was a hundred bucks more than I wanted to pay. Should've just coughed it up, all the seventy seven productions moved into china with japan assembly. The japanese models are killer. I believe Momose is still all japan though...

Ibanez ArtCore series is worth a look for semi-hollows IMO.

They are fantastic made in japan copies, on the level of navigators etc

2k is high-fair, not unreasonable but not a deal either

They are very good and many prefer them to actual gibson usa guitars - although, not many prefer them to an r9 that ive run into. YMMV

My friend sweats MiJ stuff snd sends me their strats and teles (I think). He loves em but I have no experience with them.

I dunno if they are to the level of recent Navigators.

As mentioned, they're now Deviser's top brand. They use to make similar models under the Bacchus brand but moved the fancier stuff to Momose.

For LPs with a relatively plain top, they'd be African mahogany. The ones with the fancier tops could have Honduran mahogany and would be more like a Navigator. It'd be helpful to see the certificate to know the model.

But I do like that they tend to use Jescar 55090 frets. I don't really like the lower 47014 frets that Navigator used recently.
