I just looked at the specs for the origin. I'm actually surprised for some reason I thought it was some sort of solid state/tube hybrid like the valve states.

I like them both, the 20h (el84) can sound great modded, the 50 origin (El34) is similar to the 1987x / 2204 high voltage models, it’s a really good mod platform. It has dc heaters on v1/v2 as well.
