what would the US do if China or Russia made a military pact with Mexico, and put tactical nukes on the US border?

that's what the US / NATO planned to do with Ukraine; Poland and Romania already have missile defense systems that can be easily converted to offensive use including tactical nukes.

US is allowed to have national security issues in Ukraine, 10,000 miles away, yet Russia can't have existential security concerns on its' own border?
