Motley Crue Crushing it!

Vince has had like 3 or 4 strokes. It runs in his family aparently..

I will be seeing them this summer so I will report back.

My wife 'surprised' me with tickets  :dunno:

But I was a huge Crue fan back in the day.

Mick's tone was great on Dr Feelgood but actually good on all their albums. Fucking brutal cutting mids

John 5 is fucking great. 1st saw him playing with David Lee Roth in 1995 or so and I was amazed at how well he played Ed's parts. Fucking nailed it.
As far as I know John 5 has never performed live with David Lee Roth

I can't find anything that verifies that. I know for a fact @Stradazone has played with DLR :dunno:
Well I had no idea. I didn't realize who Stradazone is. Maybe my memory is clouded by malted hops and barley as it was a festival at a time I just became drinking age in Wisconsin and I promise you I drank very Wisconsinably those years. Maybe it was Stradazone that melted faces that day. It was at Rockfest in Cadott WI. It wouldn't be the first or last time I was wrong.

I'm older so remember when Motley was actually a bunch of badasses, them against the World, etc and the epitome of rock star living. They should have stopped when Mick got sick. The way a band like Crue handles someone getting sick and how iron Maiden does it is night and day.

At least Mick got to get a ton of years back in the band, making money and having fun again. That guy has had a tough life.

It was John 5, saw him with my own eyes. Don't know what else to tell you. My eyes and the Internet both agree.
You will not find video of them performing together because it never happened, most likely you saw Bart Walsh he had the short blonde hair once he ditched his wig., Bart was the original Atomic Punks guitarist, passed away some years ago..

John 5 addressed the issue directly in a recent conversation with Thinking About Guitar, emphasizing that the skepticism is both outdated and unfair.

"There was this talk that was going on for so long, like, 'Oh, this person's not playing live, or that person's not playing live," John 5 said (transcribed by Ultimate Guitar). "Everything, like, Nikki [Sixx] is playing every note up there. But it's so funny that people don't want to accept that," he said.

"They'll be like, 'Oh, his hands aren't even on the bass,' and it'll be up in the air. But it's like, he's fretting a note, or he'll have this arm up, but he's picking with this hand. But people don't understand that. Nikki plays every single note on that stage. He messes up. Like, you can hear mistakes. Tommy [Lee] plays everything, I play everything, Vince [Neil] is singing."
