Dave, I could be wrong but I think that you are thinking of the Blissbucker.
There was a lot of hype a while back on a few forums about that one, with EVH being mentioned in all of them.

The 2nd degree Black Belts are very different.
I have a set in my LP and they rule.

Pretty sure Amplifire loves his as well.
 
Didn't see the second degree on the website. How much are the singles + shipping? Can you get a gold covered one?
