Did this to my 74 Super lead. The amp is already heavily modded. I have plenty of stock looking Marshalls and wanted something to reflect how this amp sounds. It can get very brutal.

I changed all piping on the head shell to black. Made a black face plate with no lettering, dark gray painted Marshall logo and aftermarket knobs with matching gray pointers.

Dude, that looks so nasty. I dig the hell out of it!

Looks awesome man

Love the whole blacked out gun metal look.

And honestly, I'm getting sick of traditional looking Marshalls. <flameshield>

Looks cool! You need a blue pilot light now. What mod is it?

Damm that looks mean! Marshall stealth baby! That's awesome bro. I've never seen a marshall like that before.
Nice

I believe that's his Monomyth. Looks stellar like this!

I hate to cop your steez, but this is just more motivation for me to order a Murdered out 50W Splawn QR Competition KT88 to match my 5150 Stealth for my live rig. Thinking I may pull the trigger on that now, THANKS

I’m thinking it’s one of two amps that were at a GC; both had built in HP/LP filter mods along with gain mods. OP let me know about the remaining one but I ended up passing on it for a stock 82 that would eventually get a Monomyth mod.

Either way that’s a damn cool look!

Thanks, Shea... I went with a black logo at first. But it was too dark. Gray was just right.

I went ahead and replaced the grill cloth on my 72’ Marshall cab today. The original was beat and torn. I used large checker cloth and deleted the piping. I think it matches the head so much better now...
