One option is to not buy the amp in the first place.

I feel your pain. It took me 2 weeks and six phone calls to get them to honor a discount coupon they'd sent me when I'd ordered my wolfgang stealth. The tried to claim that the "discount" was applied mf account, NOT my cc. That's not my definition of a discount. It took much bitching and threats of returns and never shopping with them again, but I got my percentage taken off cc. Oh, and why did I go thru mf? You guessed it: Sweetwater doesn't have the fucking thing in stock and had no idea when they'd be getting it. Couple that with the fact that Sweetwater has financing on everything EXCEPT for the one amp maker I'm interested in right now, and I have a pretty bad taste my mouth for them, too. But that's another story altogether. Anyway, places like mf kill me sometimes.

No......but I did swap out the strings on a guitar with some older ones I had before I sent it back.
Would of gotten away with it to!
If not for you kids and that meddling dog!!
