How on Earth does someone like Mamdani even get elected by a majority into that role? That's the bigger question. There is a huge sickness in the west - we've been invaded by people who are not congruent with western ideals. But worse the US is now practically our enemy (or not behaving as a friend) to Australia so the sickness continues. People who work against your culture within your own country as elected officials, and sick attacks on your allies. Those allies also have sickness within them. The west is dead. It's so sad.
