MXR Custom Shop Compressor VS. Wampler Ego???

I've been eyeballing the Wampler Ego, when a friend unexpectedly bought me the MXR. How do these two compare?

The only thing I hated about is that there are two internal knobs on the inside that adjust the attack and something else (been a couple of years since I owned it ) and I was always tweaking it so I kept the back cover off.

I want an Ego right and they have a blend knob that allows it to work nicely with humbuckers. It's also nice on your attack and leaves a lot of neutral room for your picking.

I haven't had a chance to play the Ego but I really dig the Custom Comp. It's the best I've tried so far. Wampler makes killer stuff though.

I think I am going to exchange it for a Wampler Ego -- the mix knob is very applealing, and I use humbuckers pretty much all the time.
