ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHY THIS IS HAPPENING? ITS NOT A MAJOR SHOCK, BUT IT IS DEFINATELY BAD ENOUGH TO NOT WANT TO TOUCH THE STRINGS. I HAVE NOT A CLUE AS TO WHAT IS CAUSING THIS!!! ITS MAKING ME NUTS!

Check and see if you're guitar is grounded.

Stay away from any live mic's.

IT HAS STOPPED. NOT REALLY SUREN WHY. DECIDED TO TRY ANOTHER CORD, AND SAW THAT THE POWER CORD, GUITAR CORD, DELAY POWER CORD, AND THE MULTI PLUG IN UNIT CORD ALL WERE KIND OF TWISTED TOGETHER AND UNDID IT TO GET THE GUITAR CORD OUT. I AM NO LONGER BEING SHOCKED BUT NOT SURE WHY??

Static electricity? :dunno:

Ummmm....no....

Sometimes when we play....I go up to the mic to sing...and get a 'zap'...but just dismiss it as that. :D

mate that shit can kill .... stop singing   :D
Ha! Its not much singing....more or less just screaming into a mic. :D
I think its static electricity at my place. Lot of foot shuffling when playing.

Sounds like something could be shorted, shorted to ground. A good place to start is having someone familiar with electricity check the outlet. Make sure the outlets integrity is intact, loose connections or any evidence of arching. If the outlet doesnt reveal any issues, try another outlet and see if the amp behaves in the same manner. Id look at the amp next if it does.

That's like saying "The man's gun during the robbery killed the clerk."

If you've been electrocuted, by definition, you're dead. You're being shocked.

Make sure you grab an ungrounded rail, get flung across the stage unconscious wake up and write one of the better songs for your band about said incident which then starts your career as a vocalist alongside a guitar player which would eventually lead to you not thinking you need said band even 40 years later...
