I got this a few weeks ago and am past the honeymoon phase, she is a keeper.

I traded a Mesa Subway Blues combo straight across for the budda. IIRC I paid about $350 for the subway blues a few years ago, so i don't have a lot of cash into it really.

its a two channel amp that is pretty flexible, not a lot of bells and whistles but it takes pretty good care of most of what i like.

the cab is a Mojotone 2x12" loaded with older weber speakers. i absolutely love this cab and am a fan of Weber speakers as well. i own so many speakers (and a lot of webers) and can't remember what exactly is in the cab, but it complaments the amp excellently.

great pedal platform which is what i have it for.

the grey switch i built for two loop switchers and the footswitch so stomping is minimal. the compressor is in one the purple OD is in the other. the modulation effects are ran through the loop.

here is just a two minute fuckaround demo of the amp from my phone. i am well aware the audio isn't the best. but in the room the amp sounds fantastic. this sucker can get pretty damn loud too, and the breakup on it is very smooth but snarly.

here is the video with an old beat up tele, with a pair of DiMarzio Twang Kings and the switch is a four way.

(Edit: had problems with video)

You ruined the video the second you started tapping your pedals with your toe..... Gross

I wouldn't be against having one of those again, though it wasn't loud enough at band practice for me to be super happy with it.
Maybe a 30 would've been a nice step up

I wouldn't expect it to hold up on a band scenario tbh. 18w has never done that for me in the past. I would Mike up. Sounds good loud though, it has a nice breakup to it at 1 o'clock. Which I definitely don't mind.

Cheers!

I played one once and was pretty impressed.

I remember when you got your Subway. Seems you traded up.

I am happy with the deal and probably got the upper hand in value. The Subway Blues was nice, but I would grab my. Mesa 22 cal first anyway and it was kind of redundant. Also the 10" speaker was kind of restricting from a tone perspective for me.

So win win!

I had one for a bit. It was LOUD as shit. I ultimately returned it, as the low end was loose and flabby. No overdrive in the world would tighten it up.

What cab were you using? It does not sound that loud to me. I ended up liking my Weber loaded mojo cab over the budda cab. The budda cab did not impress me at all TBH.

Also I am using mid gain at most on it and that pedal on the left side of the switch is a germanium OD that is working great for me.
