I'd owned more than 5 mark IIIs but never had a red stripe, so I had to at least try one! So here it is - this one dates back to October 1987. It's a simul class El34 / 6L6 but I am planning to test some NOS Reflektor 6P3S Es that I have! Not much time to play but I dig it a lot! It's been serviced - new caps and it's ultra quiet!
Here's a short clip

The one I owned was viciously aggressive and angry...also tight without being "clanky". All around great amp and way ahead of its time. Big congrats brother.

Yep, that sounds like a MkIII, shares the Mark Throne along with the IIC+ (although doesn't get equal credit).
