This amp looks like it would be a great upgrade from my evh 5150 III. I think the boost function is so simple and brilliant and so easy to change on the fly. I actually like how the amp looks. really can't wait to here some clips and different levels of gain with or with ought the boost.

I just got my suhr modern satin, ordered the koko boost reloaded...I am thinking suhr is all a man needs. Suhr is the only company i feel does that today at such a high level.

Funny you should mention- that's the amp I had before John made me the 1st PT100. So moved from that amp as well. I really liked the 5150iii, it was a good amp. I wasn't crazy about the clean channel or the real hi gain channel, I used it for ch2 mainly.

Thats where i am at on the 5150 III as well...The clean is ok and the third ch is just way over the top. Its too dark and too compressed. I just ordered the koko boost reloaded for ch 2 so will see what that does. My eye is on this amp for the future.

Haha ,..yeah I can hear the guitar\amp ... it does have some nice character to it, more low mids than the original PT100, I had one of those for a little bit.
