Only had about an hour with it so far, but I have a few initial impressions. It reminds me a bit of a tighter recto. Has the low mid thing going on, and it's got a bgoner esque liquid lead feel on the high gain channels. Really easy and fluid to play. The clean is fucking fantastic. No breakup when the gain is dialed in properly. This leads me to believe it'll be a great pedal platform. Volume knob works great. Nice sweep.

Thanks! I was looking into the fireball, but this came out of nowhere with a semi retarded price attached to it that I couldn't ignore lol I've always been interested in engl since noodling thru a savage Se many moons ago.

It's a nice compliment to my 5150 iii 50 watt. I was worried about redundancy, having 2 modern amps with 6l6 power sections, but they're very different animals.

The FB100 kills. For the brootz, it's the best amp I've played through. It's super thick, yet remains very tight. It's my first Engl as well. I don't know how they flew under my radar for this long, but they did. Now I want all of them. I dig your playing man, can you post a clip?
