Did some wheeling and dealing over the weekend ended up with an Uber Ultra KT88. I wasn’t blown away at first, until, I became familiar with all the switches and control functions. I’m becoming quite smitten with it! You can get some really great tones out of this thing! A total transformer from one end of the spectrum to the other. Excellent amp! I dig it.

I remember when Cameron was coming with the line and he had a Namm vid of Dave playing Meanstreak through a proto of a CCM (chrome faceplate). Sounded so nasty. I would have gone for that model but it never really became available and of course it all went the way it did.

Try dialing the Density way back and turn the Depth up. I felt like that opens the amp up considerably.
