I actually got this a few weeks ago but have been busy with the holidays. Really hard to do the purple tolex justice... pops way more in person. Really great sounding 4X12 with 2 V30s and 2 H75 Creambacks. Built like a tank, but not overbuilt to the point that your tone suffers. The cab really breathes and projects. Sounds great live and recorded. Really easy to mic for great tone with minimal effort. Sounds killer with the MTL. Anyone needing a great "Marshall-alternative" give the Wizard 4x12 a shot.

Beautiful... congrats OP. You mean it doesn't lack "fullness" and tone? lol

Nope. Plenty full. Sounds great alongside my other 4X12s. Rick builds some fine gear. No question.

looks awesome! What casters did you put on it? Mesa track lock or the pop-in pin style?

-that's beautiful man... If you remember, take some pics of the inside, next time the back panel is off.. Rock that bitch..

-mother trucking!! rock ducker!!! ---·{AUTOCORRECT}·--- got me again!!!

The track-loc. Just have to drill 2 pilot holes for each base plate... then screw em in. Went with the 3 inch wheels. Works great.

Congrats, nice cab!

Are those cabs built by the same Co. that builds for Bogner? Or does Rick build them?

Designed by Rick... built at Boutique Amps Distribution in LA, California. Friedman, and Diezel cabs and head boxes are built there too. Not sure about Bogner. All different specs though... different bracing inside, speaker mounts and other differences too. Not all the same cabs with different logos slapped on to be sure.

That's just awesome! Great color choices. Love those LP's too.
How do you like the V30/C75 combo? Are they very similar?
I also went with the 3" track-loc casters on mine. But I took off the rubber feet and mounted them at the corners.

Thanks. Love the V30/H75 combo. Sounds perfect for what I wanted. Tight but with a bit of vintage flavor. The H75s sound great with the V30s. Very complimentary. The H75s have a bit more breakup, dirt and crunch to them. Just like a higher powered M25 Greenback pretty much. Not as tight/linear as the V30s.

I was going to pull the feet off as well... but my other cabs have both the feet and casters... so I didn’t want to stop the trend.
:D

Nice. One thing is certain..that company builds some of the best sounding cabs out there, for new production IMO.

Am I missing something with the Mesa casters?

Why is a caster set $89 but I can buy 4 caster mounting plates for $18.20 and 4 casters for $48.00 for a total of $66.20. If I buy the set, I pay $22.80 more? Is there something in the set I'm missing?

What did you buy from them - the set or separately?
