Yeah the tunes aren't amazing but they aren't terrible. The first song released had a bit more mojo, I kept waiting for this one to go into another gear but it sort of stayed where it was. Overall, these guys are grandpas and still bringing the goods so I give them a pass. I won't change the station if it comes on so it is ok by my book. I quite liked the tone/production too.

I'm with you. Shot in the Dark was a better song than this one is.

I recently played Black Ice, Stiff Upper Lip and Ballbreaker at home and I realised once more what a lacklustre album Stiff Upper Lip was. Mind you, I still bought it, being a bit of a fan, but in all these years that I have it, I played it 3 times maybe.
*That* album also had this whole "o.k, when will it become catchy...ehmm...hmnm, it's staying this way" during almost every song. Ballbreaker and Black Ice, while both contain their abundant share of filler, at least contained one or two really memorable songs. SUL really doesn't IMHO.
