Huge Ian and Big Wreck fan. I even bought one of his signature model Suhrs, but I think it's broken. For some reason, despite having the guitar, I can't play anything like him.

Talking about that interview I posted at the bottom of the first page. So much legit talk, down to mice and roaches in the shitty apartment and not being able to eat for three days because they were so broke, hash pipes in the secret air vent stash of the van impounded by US Customs…def for deep fans.

I was one of the lucky that got exposed in ‘97 and got to see the first two album tours. Tiny but great venues too, Barrister’s in Memphis and the Nick in Birmingham. 40-50 people tops. It was so outrageous that bands like Disturbed got the big play when Big Wreck was on another level.

Yeah I hope he gets the call to sub for Chris Cornell...I mean they could do a "Reunion" like Pantera and cash in, while exposing their fans to his music. It'd be a win for everyone.

Ian was asked to front Velvet Revolver back in the day, but declined. That would have been so cool, although Scott was fantastic, Ian would have brought serious songwriting as well.

I get how good he is, I just never connecting with Big Wreck.
Caught them opening for Dream Theater way back in the late 90's or early 2000's... they were good, but I was waiting to see Petrucci.

Really? That I did not know. Saw two of the first Velvet Revolver shows in St. Louis and Kansas City. Both were great shows! Scott was a madman.
