It's not even the fact that is a solid state amp at that price point that I think is nuts. It's the fact that it's made by BOSS, probably in Asia at a manufacturing cost that can not justify that MSRP. Now, if BOSS has made it in the US, it makes more sense due to manufacturing costs here.

Maybe its $2500 because they know they'll sell maybe 5 and they have to make up the R&D budget somehow. On the other hand maybe it'll be like the schecter amps from a few years back that never hit the market.

1) goofy bracelets-X
2) goofy necklace-X
3) designer jeans-X
4) boots-X
5) tight colored t-shirt-X
6) trucker wallet&chain-X
7) warm up on the george lynch slide step, guitar raise with mouth open-X
8) practice the demartini step and ass wiggle-X

I find it strange that it doesn't have the Roland brand name. Since Roland has traditionally made amps and Boss has made pedals.

As far as the comparison to the Axe-Fx and Kemper. Those are proven pieces of gear, this new Boss amp is not. Who is going to be the first to take the plunge and see if its worth it? Will be interesting to see the used value.

When Boss hears someone bought one:

for 2000 dollars u get Randall Satan head 120w tube or diezel d-moll 100w.
