New Boss Waza amp

Himmel doesn't sound "on" in this vid at all. All the coolness and look is there but definitely not his best playing. I think he should have focused less on the VH and just riffed his own stuff. Anyway, carry on.

Sweetwater now has them listed on their website for $2499 so I guess that's a real number. I wonder if a developer was ordered to create the thing, begrudgingly did so, and then said ok, here's the price. It just doesn't make sense.

Maybe they figured if they priced them at $600 they'd get overlooked and lost in the mix. Price them at $2500 and look at all the people talking about them ;)

At that price talking is all I'll be doing.

This sounds like crap and $2500 is laughable. I love BOSS pedals but, man, what a misfire

It sounds flat and has to many bees in the high end to me. One of my biggest pet peeves in life and and in recording is bees.

I wouldn't pay 250 let alone 2500.

They have lost their marbles.

Correct. Any proper gear head would buy a JP MKIIC+ and not that. I'll be surprised if it does not sound like all the other boss floor pedal boxes. I've had a few of them over the years (COSM) and I lump them in the same category as Line 6 with their fizzy rubbish.

Sounds good to me from that small sample. I wish no one knew it was SS before posting their "reviews". Me thinks we'd have a lot of different responses...

$2499 for the head and $1399 for the cab. $3900 for a solid state half stack..............................ummm no

There is something about this guy that I just hate. That something, is everything about him, especially the shitty rendition of old, tired, boring playing.

Amp sounds fine. Just fine. Not great....just fine. I'd like to hear why a solid state amp is worth $2500 exactly. What's in there that brings the price up like that I wonder? It can't ALL be marketing, can it?

I think the reason for the price is that they are goin gto be releasing tone prints of famous artists that you buy seperately to go with this thing.... that's right, expensive solid state modelling that STILL costs you more for tone prints.

The CAB is $1400?

Why!? The website barely has any info on the cab, from what I can see.

"Specially designed cabinet for maximum compatibility with the Waza Amp Head
Four custom-made 12-inch speakers with high power-handling capacity, developed for the legendary early rock sound
Closed-back cabinet designed in combination with the custom-made speakers for a strong presence in the ensemble and full-face resonance
Cabinet impedance: 8 ohms"

Is it FRFR? Custom voiced guitar speakers? Seems like guitar speakers to me, but after reading the website, I really don't know.

These guys @ Boss are smoking some HARDCORE BAD CRACK COCAINE

I've got a list as long as my arm of shit that I can score for $3900, and a solid state can of bees on top of a mystery cabinet ain't on it....

Should we set this one up as the "Epic Fail" of 2016? Or wait and see what else spews out of NAMM? Although, the 14K EVH guitar could probably qualify as well.

  I can't imagine a worse rig for $17,900. Crown them both!

Funny thing is the full limited run is already all presold to dealers, so it's no skin off of them, right?
