New bridge..need some advise

Any of you guys replace a les Paul bridge and not slot the saddles? What are your opinions on slotting vs not. So far I have replaced it unslotted and so far it's stable and sounds great.

If you buy a bridge with unslotted saddles, it gives you the ability to slot them to match your pickups and neck width. You stipl have to slot the saddles

You can used the old strings and press them into the saddles creating a mark then use a small file adjust to taste...

You still need to adjust the spacing and slot them, it doesn't take much to keep them in place.

I have a Faber locking ABR in my Trad +, unfinished brass with just the guide notches....I never deepened them as the strings stay fine in the guide notches...
