Guys…mark didn’t mean to do anything…there was nothing he could do….it wasn’t his fault! I mean yes it IS his business and LLC but that’s besides the point. The fact of the matter is, that since he didn’t MEAN to rip anyone off, and has ONLY had 14+ years to remedy this situation, this should exclude him from any wrong doing. Ok…..fine….i GUESS its kinda screwed up that he went underground and MIA for years and didn’t even attempt to apologize, but give the guy a break, he didn’t mean to do any of it!
None of that matters bro. Screw all those guys. They probably couldn't appreciate a Cameron like I can anyway. I would literally risk it ALL for a Cameron amp. There is nothing that could change my mind if I can get that GRIND, and CHIRP and BOUNCE. I would leave my wife and kids if it meant getting a Cameron....sorry family, daddy is going to Tone Heaven and he ain't coming back!

Not to mention doing business with a guy who can't even figure out to set up a website for his actual business. But don't worry, he's a legit business. Just ask his word of mouth customers.

Someone gets ripped off on a guitar forum: "OFF WITH THAT SELLERS HEAD! DOX HIM AND LETS GO TO HIS HOUSE AND DRAG HIM OUT!"

Mark Cameron rips multitudes of people off: "NOOOOO HE IS A TONE GOD HOW ABSOLUTELY DARE YOU SPEAK ILL OF HIM? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE???"

Waiting for the:

Version!

You know I have a hard time even allowing this thread to continue. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing that scamming piece of shit is getting any traction on here at all.
It doesn't matter really. Either people don't know the backstory, or don't care. I hope those who just don't care end up getting what is most assuredly coming to them. Check back in a year or so.

I saw everything that went down in person and I know most of you wont believe me but Mark never had any intention to rip off his own customers. The one manufacturer had went bankrupt on him and believe it or not I had to buy most of the original parts and PCBs at that companies bankruptcy auction.

Then you should have no problem disclosing the proper business name, address, and phone number, email of the entity (or individual if this is a d/b/a situation) for exactly who is selling/distributing these particular amps.

People should not have to pay $3,000+ for an amp to get the address from where it ships. This should be up front knowledge to any potential customer before the sale.

If this is just you distributing amps for Mark Cameron willy nilly and without any written business plan OR a legit formed business, the folks here need to know that.

I’m confused why a stand up guy would get involved with Mark, given the long term odds of success are very low.

The only reason anyone would throw the dice on the risk and liability that goes with MC, is in order to put some coin in their own pockets by trading off his "brand". Why on earth with anyone with even an ounce of integrity get onboard with a guy who's ripped off other musicians, and STILL hasn't made it right? People for whom money is more important than ethics, which pretty much describes Mark's m.o. Just like whomever was trying to do this with him a few years back, and it just crashed and burned.

I wonder if the California AG and CDTFA know Mark's back in business? Even if the window has lapsed for civil and criminal liability, I wouldn't be shocked at all if Mark isn't doing things by the books from a finance standpoint. It might be time for them to break out the magnifying glass.

Authorities are looking for big fish, not spending $30,000 in wages to chase down nickels. Mark is no different from pickup contractors that take deposits and vanish, society will always be plagued by them for the aforementioned reason.

c'mon, just send in your amp for da magic mods. what could possibly go wrong? :D
Come on brother rsm. Don’t you know that Dave Friedman is a genius? WTH you been?

People move. Or get evicted. Or jailed.

What is the full business name of the entity that is selling these amps? What state is the business domiciled in?

Is it just a d/b/a or assumed name? Is it a LLC? Inc.? Is there a d/b/a filing along with an incorporated entity?

Does the business have a good and valid insurance policy?

Just business. You associate with a known scammer, you assume the risk and the exposure.

So EXPCustom is SuckerFreeGear? Wasn't he roomies with Mark at one point?

It looks like he renamed his Reverb and eBay storefronts to "SonicFidelityGroup". I wonder what happened there?

Hey @EXPcustom, simple question. Since you and Mark were roomates and seemingly good friends and are going into business together....

What happened to all those amps he stole? Did he sell them? Does he still have them?

Ok I see your Email now, at least I assume it's you, I don't want to dox you and say your name. You wanted a new CCV right? There is no 100 watt purple modern amp. I had put your name on the waitlist till we or someone comes up with a contract manufacturer to make them. At that point if I am no longer involved or still involved I will be passing along the waitlist. Also as long as I am involved with an actual manufacturer/Mark not just some shlub selling a few amps a year like I am now. I will make sure that the 15 people get reimbursed. If we go into full production and this does not happen I will withdraw from the business. From the discussions Mark and I have had also remeber I was in LA at the time working with Slayer and GnR at that time when the original Mark drama occured, Mark has every intention to reimburse the original CCV orders. I also have a list of these people and I hope to be in touch with them soon if things start turning around. I have a career/dayjob, this is my side business passion, I really hope to make it full time so I can focus on just the music stuff.
