This is my first time trying any outside IRs in my Axe Fx II so I don't know how these sound compared to Ownhammer, etc, but the Celestion v30 4x12 and H30 Anny 4x12 IRs sound excellent. I'd been going back and forth using my real 4x12s or my internal cab sim and my Atomic CLR. The real 4x12 always sounded head and shoulders better, but now I'm not so sure. These just sound great. I wouldn't hesitate using these live with FRFR speakers.

Best $11.99 I've ever spent.

I bought 1x12 versions for every speaker. They sound great compared to Ownhammers, which have been a staple for me.

They are pretty good. I snagged the V30 and Creambacks.

I picked up pretty much all the packs. Haven't had a chance to try them yet but looking forward to it.

Yes they are! I used them all over my Butterslax clips I will be posting. Some of the best IR's I have purchased.

Hey Jerevil

I read you were not happy with the power station's load. Can you explain what sucked about it?

I have one and intend to use Celestion IRs with it.

When checking out Pete Thorn's video, I thought the Suhr was the best, but that the PS came very close/ similar
that with the fact it can do the attenuation thing as well just seemed like the best deal to me.

I only tried it once with redwirez and it was too hot (PS line level was too hot for my mbox)

I have a work around for that, but would love any info you have.

It seemed to impart a good bit of noise into my recorded tracks. Might have been a routing issue with my interface. I saw the same Pete Torn vid and got excited, until I recorded with it. In hindsight I would have to think it was something I was doing wrong but i had no inclination to resolve the issue.

I hear that same noise even in Pete's vid. It is almost like it is imparting distortion on the signal and the whole thing barks when used with impulses. I actually just pulled the trigger on a Reload today. For me, seemed like best bang for buck. The only thing it is missing is the ability to plug into amp and DI at same time without routing in and out of DAW but I have a DI box already so no issue there. My hotplate is noisy as hell now due to the bulbs burning so i needed to address this first. The fact that I could get an attenuator, a reamp, and a load for that price point made it worth it for me. Hardware units can only handle two mics at best so to me the best option was to get it into the DAW. I also like to feel the low end at my feet from the speaker cab as I play. I would have waited for the Captor but my Hotplate is gonzo and it is bonus February so... (though I should be paying that expensive ass mattress we bought in December but I digress....)

Maybe the Powerstation needs to be padded down into a DAW interface? I would score them probably Suhr first but bang for buck, Torpedo. Real mic wins almost everytime though!

Nice man. I really love the Two Notes stuff and their team is pretty on top of their customer service. I want to check the Captor out as well. I had a hard time deciding between the Reload, Live and Studio to be honest.

Thanks. I didn't know about that site until I went searching after reading the thread. I thought maybe you were just talking about the Celestion speaker IR's in all the IR packs, like the ones on Fractal site for example. I was thinking through my IR's and thinking "damn, I think all my IR's are celestion speakers".

I will definitely check them out and get a few. Thanks.

Here's a short clip using the 4x12 w/Greenbacks.
I'm really liking what I'm hearing.

Sounds great!
Thanks Pete,
I like the Ownhammer's, these seem to be the next step.

So far I like them quite a bit and I find them to be similar to Ownhammers in terms of quality.

Hey JerEvil, I am curious if you are able to get heavy recording tones with your Butterslax & Two Notes studio?

Are the recordings/sounds you are getting similar to how the Butterslax sounds through your cab? I have a Suhr RL and have tried all sorts of IR loaders and IR's and I can get ok heavy tones but they don't sound like how my amp would sound thru a real cab. So If I dial in a nice heavy sound with really heavy jug jug sounds (think old Anthrax/SOD) on my amp thru my cab and then switch to the Suhr RL it kind of sounds like ass.. and I have to dial in a completely different sounding sound for direct recording that kind of doesn't represent my amp's characteristics... I hope that makes sense.

So I'm curious does the Butterslax sound really close to a Butterslax with a cab with the Two Notes studio? Or does it sound different-ish? Thanks!

I bought most of the 412 IRs with the half off deal. I'm using them with my AxeFX and CLRs. They really brought the tone to the next level. Makes the stock IRs sound like a wet blanket.
