I gotta give my friend's Strat back real soon, so I decided to record a quick clip. I only did 1 take, and I thought it was pretty good, so I decided to keep it. Guitar is 100% raw with no "studio magic" or anything. The backing track is something I found online. For you Opeth zealots, yes, I know I'm playing it a touch different. I'm doing that on purpose. ;)

Gear: Fender American Deluxe Ash Strat -> Mark III -> Intellifex -> Mesa Trad. 4x12 -> SM57 -> Firebox -> GarageBand

And an HDR picture of his Strat, just because it looks killer:

Wow, was the clip that bad? Is it my tone, vibrato, slow bends, or what?

Talk about Hamster vibrato. :bleh:

Just kidding. Sounded good Tommy chan. :D

 I'd like to be able to pull a tone like that out of my MKIV or Quad but don't have a single coil in the neck on any of my guits.

Liked the playing too man.
