Any of y'all death metal heads into these guys ?
Primitive warfare & the siege machine are two bands that have been heavy in my rotation lately. Definitely not strict death metal but raw as fuck, aggressive & hella creative.
Any recs in this war metal vein ?

Fuck yeah, I can tip you off to some bands you might dig - here are some newer bands but then you'll have the old guard like Blasphemy, Goatpenis, Proclamation,Black Witchery, Conqueror, etc

Vengeance Horde is a newer favorite of mine

Primitive Warfare

Vengeance Arsenal

Atomic Goatcrime

You're right, vengeance horde is sweet. But where's the beef in the chug ?? Just cause you play black metal don't mean you can't have fat tone. The rest of the mix sounds good, only the guitar is recorded on an iPhone lol

Not Death Metal but fuck it, one of my favorite newer bands and they've got a new split with some local dudes (Mordant Rhed) who are doing a hell of a lot to keep the old ways alive
