wow, for some reason, I'm really digging the white knobs even though they seem so out of place. Other than that, that amp sounds like my dream amp. Jose style leads with super tightness?! I want one!

I had to share. Let me start by saying Mike is a total class act, and KNOWS HIS SHIT! I wanted an amp that would do the "sound in my head" that most other amps I've had fell short on. I wanted the best of both worlds. I loved the NATAS clips and basically wanted that sound. But I love Cali/Jose mods too. So I asked Mike to put a switch in to go from tight to lead. When in lead, it gives it that Cali/Jose type of feel.

It's a Metro build that Mike cleaned up for me. Put a NATAS output t-former in it. It's absolutely sick. I could go on and on. But I won't. Here's some pics. Clips to come when I get off my crutches.

Yes, I had to do a lot of clean up and the OT was replaced. The replacement is excellent but nothing like the Natas OT. Those trannies get put in the production amps only.

Natas rhythms with Cali leads....sheesh, that's hard to top

It's not the Hulk or Natas spot on but a very cool variation. The circuit is always getting tweaked. That's what keeps it interesting and fun. It does not have the Cali circuit in it. It is mainly a variation off of Dave Linsk's amp that I recently did for him. I am also finishing up another one for him. The things that I wanted to do to Dave's 2nd amp mostly ended up in JB's amp. Dave didn't want to change the amp's tone just one added feature because he really digs it the way it is. As per JB's request for wanting the amp to also have that tight attack but also that liquid lead feel for lead work. The tight/lead switch was all JB's idea and it came out really well. It's something that I would want on an amp. The pull kill on the treble is similar to the Natas but different mid gain boost for crunchier mids and highs. G and G are also different than the Natas as well but just as cool and useful.
