New Gibson guitars revealed...

Looks cool to me, I vote Yes. And if it was the same guitar by a hip new builder here, everyone would like it too.

Kind of looks like the old Gibson MIII's from the 80's. Surprised they would go back in that direction. That guitar was a great player , but sold terribly for them. These arent as busy and dont have the terrible pick guards, but it is similar.

-i like both!! Probably the older one better, GIBSON has to come up with new design's, since they and FENDER are the only guitar companies in the universe that have an original FUCKIN idea!!!

I love Gibsons and own a couple of them, but man did they totally miss the mark on this one.

On that one, and on 2015! Bunch of lunkheads running Gibson.

Yeah i like the old MIII a lot. Its different, but cool. I posted a thread a few years back to get others opinions on one i was thinking of picking up at the local GC. I waited too long and someone snagged it. It was a nice guitar. This new one i would give it a shot if the price was too steap. Rather have a trem than a stop tail for that guitar though.
