Tell me, I've wanted a tobacco burst for years. I always had the standard sun burst but this thing rocks! The finish is as good as I've ever seen on guitars 5x as much.

Carvin's are great guitars. They don't get much love around here it seems. Maybe if they cost 3 times as much they would.

Aint this the truth. I remember back in the day Bob Savage had a really nice Carvin before he got hooked on Vigiers.

So the active electronics and pickups on that Carvin are good? In my limited Carvin experience, I have found their pickups to be the weakness.

Thanks blackba. The electronics of course all made by Carvin. They seem very nice, quiet for my taste. Not sure when or what year you experienced Carvin pups but these are brand spankin' new. They wind all their own pups.
