Great news. My first post. Been on gear page for ever' but heard about rig talk. Being a big Marshall Fan since the 60's. Cant wait to hear them. Thanks

1299$?

A little bit expensive, but I guess it's justified if they are made in England.

Dang $1,299 is expensive.

Seems like Marshall is trying to go out of business by not stepping into the high gain Jose arena....yeah, we know it’s way over saturated, but they could crush everyone.

You can get a real deal 70s JMPs or 80s JCMs for that price... usually in pretty decent condition.

I get the mini Jubilee pricing being around $1,200 since real Jubs are harder to come by. But vintage JMPs and JCMs aren't that tough to find in that price range.

My question would also be how do the power section changes to accommodate 20 watts affect the tone/feel?

In theory a hot rodded 800 seems a great idea but a lot of people have changed at Marshall
You have to have the designer to do that the JVM are nice but
Not the same as Jose Cameron Fortin etc

I was at the booth earlier and saw the demos and both of these amps sound great!! I want both! ;-)

The studio Jubilee also sounds really good to my ears. They're gonna kill it with this new line and make Marshalls affordable again on the used market!

if you've got anyway of shooting some mobile phone video clips...i'd LOVE to hear it through that...

Man, that little 1959 sounded great. Very interested in both of these baddies

These look great but wish they had boosted modes of some sort. Why won’t Marshall hot rod the 800? Arg!

Not the same circuit :)

One thing I noticed on these is that the studio plexi and 800 have new cabinets with the celestion V speakers while the new Jubilee studio still uses the same greenback in the combo and v30s in the 2x12 like the reissues. I understand the V is more like an inexpensive general speaker like the Seventy 80.

That little anniversary series, those 1w mini heads? The JCM 800 1w had a little boost button that saturated it nicely. Would've been cool to put that on this 20w.
