one of my favorite bands that i dont think ever quite got the credit they deserved. "The Opposite of December" was one of the soundtracks of my senior year in 00 and i think really kicked off the modern at the time scream/singing metalcore movement, then they just evolved into so much more. New album has some jams. its been a good week with this and new Neurosis

Can't wait to listen to this. I loved You Come Before You (and the two full lengths prior). Happy to see these guys still around.

Two words:

Underrated

Influencial

thinking about it now.. for as much as ive listened to them, i couldnt tell you any of their names, have no clue where they are from and wouldnt know who they were if i saw a picture. kinda funny how that works.

Thanks for sharing man! Poison the Well was super influential around that time and I loved them as well!!

They heavily influenced a great metal core group from my city called Compromise. Their lead singer Jesse went on to do vocals with Misery Signals.

I love those guys & grew up with them. Ryan Primack used to sell me guitars when he worked at Sam Ash in Margate Florida. He's a great player! way beyond what people think of PTW.
