I think I paid just over 300.00 for this one so for me it was well worth it as it was reasonable on price and the quality is fantastic and I didn't have to waste my weekend building one and staining it...
Yeah, getting it laid out for your needs, built, and then sanded, sealed, and finished is a lot of work. IIRC you're in Australia which makes it about 215 bucks here, really not too bad for such a nice looking setup.

Who's in Australia? I'm in Travelers Rest SC myself.

Head to your local exotic woods store and get broke buying a nice chunk of claro, lol.
Nah, I'll stick with domestic flatsawn walnut. It's only a couple bucks per board foot. Walnut and maple are generally my go to hardwoods.
If I wanted exotic I'd do bloodwood, purpleheart, or bubinga. But fuck those are hard on sawblades.

Back in Black....

Possibly going to sell the custom Headshell in vintage teal . Send me a DM if interested.

Oh the insanity of it all! :)

I looked on the site, I kinda like the Slanted Turret Style. Thinking of 4U in Barn Red with black handles ans slotted top. Great price for a custom made wood rack!
