No. Laura got me hooked on RubyEL34BSTR. I was using Tunsols and SED but the Rubys do it for me for whatever reason. A Ruby AC5 in v1 to handle the gain is great and I like Tungsol preamp tubes in v2-4.
I have never been tempted to use kt88s in my Nitro. The EL34s sound so good to me. I should try them sometime as others rave about them. My Baron K88 did not even last a year with me so I think I just like El34s.
