What are these studies you speak of? Who did these studies "experts"?
Anything I
link here (of which there are many, just use google for christ sake) you'll just handwave away as having "liberal bias" because it doesn't suit the narrative you want to believe, just like you've handwaved away everything else that doesn't fit your world view. Hell it's in the name. "Conservatives" want to
conserve what's already here, which means of course they'd value safety, predictability, and authority. Liberals are liberals specifically because they think systemically and are unafraid of the new and novel. Like, you don't even need a study (even though there are plenty, again... google them) to just intuit that.
As far as liberalism being more closely linked to more complex, systemic thinking, here's a question for you. Do you ever wonder why so many places of higher education produce so many liberals? Do you think it's really, actually literal brainwashing, or do you think it's because there's just a higher correlation between smart people and liberalism? I'll give you a hint. There are no places in universities where they pry your eyes open and make you watch videos about how everybody should be trans, despite what Fox "News" tells you.
BTW I'm not saying all liberals are smart and all conservatives are dumb. Lord knows that's not the case. There are idiot liberals and genius conservatives. But I am saying there are fundamental differences in how they think.
And I have no intention of educating you, unless you want to pay me for my time.
Great line, I'll have to use it myself next time I'm trying to hide the fact that I don't understand something.
So, what is the US to do about the maturing treasuries? Will other countries continue to buy our debt?
I would love to here your opinion on those matter.
What you're doing here is called "whataboutism" and it's not relevant to the conversation about tariffs. You know, the thing in the title of the thread.
So until you can actually define what a tariff is and how Trump's tariffs are impacting the country, there's really no reason for me to keep talking to you... or for anyone else to listen to you here for that matter.
