Yeah I'm with you.. I can't tell if its the guy playing's tone/amp but it sounds very metallic sounding in the demo...

I have the MXR unit...it's ok. I also have an old DOD Flanger/Doubler that's only one rack space and sounds pretty similar to the MXR for WAY less money...IF you can find one. The DOD is a bit noisier than the MXR though.

The Eventides have had variations of this for over twenty years, but I think it´s the first time I´ve seen something similar in a pedal. Pretty cool idea, I just hope it sounds good too.
