headshell was a gift from Peter Diezel (Einstein-sized) - thanks Peter :)

PT is by IGPW, OT/choke are Diezel-Protos, I need to shift the board a bit more to right next time- but not a prob with EL34s and 6L6GCs.

I love the aesthetics of your amps. The front face plate looks somewhat minimalist but in such a beautiful way.

Is the first channel clean?? I'm really curious what you intend with the body control

Thanks Ricky,

yes, the first channel is pure clean. The switch has three positions, one for single coils, one for P90s and one for humbuckers. It prevents the channel from getting too dirty/distorted. Sounds cool, huh - actually that just three different resistors in a certain position of the circuitry. :D

although my wife is angry because of the typo (noire instead of noir) - I don't care too much, this is just a proto anyway.

at Gutman: why not, if it is safe and sounds as expected, come over and test drive it.

the back still shows the "old" name

Awesome!!!!!! Looking forward to watching it come together

You could do this for a living. You have some great models and preamps.

Indeed :D

Thanks gentlemen :)

Within 24 hours all drilled, installed, board equipped - final step tomorrow, now its time for the family.

So the choke is completely sealed in plastic?
Yup, Randy. Looks weird but does its job. One won't see it afterwards behind the black plexi glass.
