Had my eye in this online for a while. Happened to be in Chicago for a funeral and swung by CME. Not sure if you call it an impulse buy since it had been on my watch list for a year, but I wasn't going there "planning" to buy something.

Yeah Brown just feels more like wood then a red back. I always look for faded backs even on 59s. I just don't vibe with the dark cherry red backs. Now on a 335 I could get over it and do cherry. But a Lemon Burst Les Paul, I want more brown and less red.
