Its great! I have the Korean version with the FR and Blackouts. This is my first 7 and first FR, very easy to play and maintain when coming from a 6 string.
The pickups and Floyd may be the hit or miss part for some people based on what they want. You can get passives and a HT. I come from 80s shred and the Blackouts have a voice that may not be what you're looking for if you're picky. They are pretty thick but I really like how they do their thing. There are certain tones that they do very well.
7 string purists may want a HT but I don't really notice it affecting tone (currently tuned to G std). I always mess around with my setup so most of the time I have the nut unlocked but the fr is fun.
Some of my guitars sort of double up with roles due to sharing the same tuning so I don't play them much but the Loomis it does its own thing and I've really grown to like it. Play it all the time
That one is sure to put a smile on your face I really love that they´re doing some stuff in Japan again.
One extremely minor nitpick I have with many modern Jacksons is that I think that headstock always looks a tiny bit off without the truss rod cover, but form must follow function
