Bought this one today. Like the Aztec so much, but this one will get a different set of pickups

Has never been a problem. I try to learn to play the instrument with its quirks. Some don't like strats because of the volume knob's location near the bridge pickup, while others learn to play it with it's quirks.

It was always such a gimmicky but still cool guitar. I used to dig the Peavey Vandenberg too.
