Survived FedEx, the shipping box wasn't as lucky. How the guitar survived given the condition of the box is a mystery.

I don't know about that. That could be a little too much. They match the headstock, and for me, that is a weird priority

$899 new seems reasonable too and I'm not a fan of actives or FRs

not yet, the current fretboard is looking better over time, but I still plan to do the India ink when I change strings.

some of the pro series have passive Duncans, and there are hardtail models, the CDX models are like the Concorde, 22-frets and two-point fulcrum trem (I have a CDX 22 Concorde in Snow White) some for a little more or less money.

I always liked EMG 81/85, and the Duncan blackouts sound great to me; I like neck thru and set necks, and gloss, painted necks...so these X series Rhoads check most of my boxes. A white headstock would be nice though, along with the chrome/nickel pickups and surrounds...
