I’m sure no one here was feeling anything negative about guys making major money, playing 3 chords and random noise through a Rat in ‘93, as everyone abandoned and maligned any technical prowess on the guitar and the word “metal” was excised from any way of describing heavy music.

This guy has some of the worst vocals ever. Damn I wish Motley Crue would go away. I am trying to be nice, and found one that did not immediately stab you in the ears - but it's definitely not good. His vocals remind me of when you try to sneak a fart out but don't quite make it and get a bit of a 'squeaker':

Plus a song is a song . We all like songs no matter what . I agree I feel it takes courage and young ppl especially are afraid of songs with verses and choruses that are catchy . A lot my students say anything with melody is gay . The youngins always say that sounds like the 80s when I suggest things about songwriting . When did melody become gay ? The clean snappy stuff is all the rage and I hate it too but the lead shred is very Vai inspired so surprised you don't like it as most here love the Vai. I personally think Vai is way overrated and I get bored of his style quick. Much prefer his rythm playing.

You learn to ignore the situation and figure out life and its complexities on your own without some fuck face constantly telling you how to be a man or some bitch making you anxious and insecure.
Now i can raise kids alone, have empathy, and I don't think like a fucking block head and fear everything i don't understand like a boomer.

That's basically the modus operandi of this type of music.

Like, how they create a hierarchy is how robotic and non-emotive your playing sounds.

That's why it's so obviously dogshit, and also why it's so obvious to anyone who knows how to engineer recordings what they are doing. Andre Flood recently did a video where he explained that he learned a polyphia song to the best of his (quite high) abilities but it didn't sound right until the engineer quantized and compressed everything within an inch of it's life.

Which is how all of this works. All of this shit is fake even when it's a "real guitar" being played; and if you think it counts as real guitar after all of the processing and quantizing and studio trickery, then we play different instruments.
