Scientologists would be all too happy to hook you to an e-meter and tell you what's wrong with yourself. Maybe they can sell you a copy of dianetics afterwards but you don't strike me as that kind of sucker.
They’re no stranger than Mittens Romney and his magic underwear.

Yea I’m good on all that man lol.
But I do kinda wonder what my score would be on the meter….
That must be how they get ya
I was headed to a comedy show and someone asked me if I would take a personality test. Then realized it was the Tom Cruise army when they brought me in their Ybor headquarters and told me to sit down in front of that machine. "I don't want to sit down". An argument ensued but I didn't get to the part where I said the moon landing was fake. I kept deflecting by asking how much the dianetics book was. When they finally answered I told them "you can't sell religions" and the whole room went "OOOOOOOOH" in disgust. LOL The comedy show was great though.

I’m not referring to them though. I’m not a science denier except as it comes to root causes and what ultimately made things happen.
I know you weren't. I was just messing around. I am really only a science denier when it comes to fairy tale men in the sky in spacesuits and moon landings. I believe vacuum tube technology is real however.

on the surface it seems like a big psychology experiment to see if they can influence human actions by calling it a religion

I'm not a science denier, I'm a "conclusions that some people draw and insist you believe from cherry picked and poorly designed studies denier". However, I am a hoax denier. I don't believe hoaxes and I don't believe them even when other people insist that I should and call me names if I don't.

L. Ron was part of the OTO and a friend of Jack Parsons and some other prettty um, strange, people. He stole 20k from Parsons, plus his woman, a yacht, and then beached it somewhere in the gulf. The whole navy obsession is why the low level followers are called sea-orgs. His own son said it's basically like satanism played out slowly over 20 years. Clearwater FL is the Jerusalem of Scientology. Go downtown there sometime, Actually don't. it is completely dominated and inhabited by Scientology. They even had cops pulling security details for them until the city cried foul.

The FBI had previously raided them in the 70's based around the accusation that they were attempting to take over downtown Clearwater. Nothing came of it and they did indeed. They even own the Fort Harrison hotel. Stalking, intimidation, harassment are the MO for people who vocally oppose it.

It looks like they are moving more towards a hybrid“nanoscale” vacuum tech.
Imagine the tonez of transistor sized tubes lol

Interesting. I am sort of a boat anchor ham radio fan which means tubes and huge heavy radios. They are much more resistant to EMP's than anything solid state so a lot of survivalist types are into them. Much more rugged and durable. And easy modding and high build quality. And the tone is real in that realm as well. Nothing beats the gold dust twins, a nice Hallicrafters, or a select Hammarlund for rich tone.

You're into science. I believe it was Collins who as a 17 yo kid was the one responsible for the antarctic expedition communications because he had higher radio tech in his parent's attic than anyone else out there and was the only one who could make it happen. A genius.

L Ron Hoover and the church of appliantology.

Again only insofar as they were caused by God. I don’t believe things happen randomly or with no root cause. Or suddenly there is matter from nothing with no root cause.
What do you think about research in quantum physics demonstrating that cause doesn’t necessarily come before effect?

I don’t agree with it if and as it relates to the creation of the universe assuming you are implying randomness created all matter out of essentially nothing. Even if it’s true it doesn’t preclude God from being that cause. Who do you think created the quantum and macro world and who made the so called laws of physics anyway.

Can anyone link a good video for sharpening up funky rhythms? Asking for a friend.
I have no idea what you mean... Do you mean improving your timing or manipulating poor timing post recording.

Best way is to be born in Africa.

Listening to James Brown makes me see where rap came from but I like funk a lot more than I like rap. There are things about James Brown's stuff that is quite rap like though.
