Listened and watched closely. Don't think so.
There is a definite overdub/splice at 4:03-4:54 for whatever reason either technical problem or maybe he just wanted a better take..either way I loved Vai with Alcatrazz, enjoyed him more in that band than any of the DLR stuff he went on to do..the studio album 'Disturbing The Peace' was brilliant!
