Is that the main benefit, having super fine tuning control? Does it take longer to get to pitch from slacked strings? Lastly, how do you deal with the less than hetero look of them?

totally forgot about these and you just reminded me i had a set in gold on a black/gold hardware superstrat with EMGs.
worked great but i just never got used to the look of them on a strat.
