Local marketplace has a Les Paul body that’s made for a bolt on neck… cheap garbage I’m sure. Crazy thing is it has a Gibson bigsby, a Saturday night special humbucker in the neck, a stag mag in the bridge…plus an lr baggs piezo. I have an esp Strat head neck just sitting here… will it work on that body? I can make it fit but should I? Dude is practically giving the body away….

Paul caster. I gigged w/a 70's Gibson SG neck bolted to a Hondo II LP copy in da 80's.
Worked very well. People thought it was a real LP. I did it cuz i was Po .... LOL.
I measure all parts w/a digital caliper [recommended] but a little "whitlin" works too.

You just have to make sure that whichever neck you use has the same distance from the nut to the 12th fret and the 12th fret to the bridge saddle.
^^^ This ^^^ Just need to know of the LP shaped body was built with a 24.75" scale length (Gibson) or a 25.5" scale length (Fender).
FWIW - I have seen an unusually high number of 'Gibson Scale Length' Warmoth necks listed on both eBay and Reverb lately.

Guitar Fetish had some bolt on necks for these a while back, might check with them to see what's up.
