Help building a strat…. Opinions on how to configure it.

Have a USA strat body (maybe) and an esp Strat head neck. My brother Jonny is hooking me up with a jb humbucker with an a2 installed. And I have a yjm fury bridge sc. also have a Gibson p90 also. Hb+sc is perfect for me but I really am curious about bridge selection. I have a Gibson labeled kahler sitting here just waiting to be put on something. Should I? Enquiring minds want to know….

Don't those take a mega rout to give them space with the cam? I had one on my Gibson Explorer in the 80's and it always worked fine. I recall there being a couple of levels of Kahler that you could swap parts out of to make them more stable. I'd probably stick with a Floyd today but either way, let us know how it turns out.

Wiring, setups, etc. are in my ballpark. Routing guitar bodies I'm sure I could do with some patience and a good jig for my router, but never tried.

Put a P90 in that bitch! That would be awesome. Get a Dimarzio 5 way super switch and I'll draw you up a schematic for whatever you want. That's the true spirit of the Frankenstrat: Make it hoe you want it.

GIbson bridge on a strat is great - pull it out of the drawer and use it! P90's too, yes.
