great sounding amp

Thanks man... Coming from someone like you with all those killer Marshalls, I really appreciate the comment...

i hope all goes well for you steve. that was a great tone

i've been using my eggie for the last 3 weeks live and i'm still struggling to get control of the rig. i'll have the cleans pretty well there, but then the dirt is a little off.
and now i can't leave my compressor on for all the channels, and the effects behave differently in the loop, and on and on...

sure seemed simpler with the coyote, but i do remember spending weeks dialing in the right live equation.

All comments made after here are AFTER I revealed that this was the Axe-FX and not the PM...

I still thought it sounded great! I'd love to hear it in the room though. There's no way that could sound as big in person (or could it?) :dunno:

Why you got to do me like that Steve :gethim:

I was on my laptop when I listened.

went back a second time and re-listened and hear different things now.

The Don and I were playing ya......

I was just being nice and positive during your time of need and feel used now.

You are suffering from buyer's remorse and are looking for ways to feel better.

I posted in the wrong thread.

Yeah that is what I am sticking too.....................

Thanks! And the cool part is that this tone isn't going anywhere since my PeaceMaker was already on it's way to Texas when this clips was made...

Yes. It can.

Haha, I just listened to that clip and I was going to say that I didn't think it really sounded like VH but I wouldn't have guessed it wasn't a "real" amp....

Giga.

Edit: on another note (literally) does the AF make it possible to change the volumebalance between the strings ? (Re. Carlygtr's comment)

awesome!

that's a wonderful tone man....now why did it take this long for someone to carve out this famous brown sound sim with the axe?

oh yeah, because you're the first peacemaker owner with an axe-fx who lived with that tone for a few years and knows it intimately, that's why!
