Marshally goodness. SD-1 clean boost for my ears sounds perfect for jcm800 tones. Really cool lil' guy.

I am impressed with my small plex jr, as in that clip, it gives the Marshall dna sound and delivers perfectly. You should tag some vids in this thread or start a thread making clips of those, curious to hear the sirrom and uk78

Currently the only amps I own are Morris amps. UK '67 and Sirrom. ^^^ That's me.

Certainly. Guitar had a Duncan Custom and a Quarter Pound at the time.

Nothing between the guitar and amp, just running a Boss SDE-3 in the loop for the delay and other "grease". I think I got a few people on the SDE-3 train. I know Glen Morris bought one himself after my first couple videos with the Sirrom.

As @EyesOfTheSouth! says, with the UK67 (or 68 if someone wants 100 watts), for this sort of sound, I think I'm pretty much done. It just sounds right. Kind of a dumb way to put it, but all the other amps I ever had were just trying to sound like this. I'm thinking I will grab his version of a Plexi at somepoint, but otherwise, this is the amp for me. Maybe I should just get another one.

Gotta say these Moris amps sound pretty killer.. I suppose the price is reasonable if you guys have USD but I am scared of what that looks like in CAD. Though that said, everything is expensive now so it isn't like he's charging magnatone prices.

Compared to other “Marshall-type” amps, Morris is very reasonably priced. Especially if you are local.

The amps are good enough that I’m not interested in owning any other amps. I have a mini SLO just for making noise in my living room, but otherwise, if I’m buying a real amp, I’m buying another Morris. Why screw around with bullshit when such a great amp is made in easy driving distance?
