VERY VERY true but obviously there are more than 5 who HAVEN'T got their head in the asses.

I also want to say, because my head isn't up my ass, that Band On The Run is one of the very best Beatles 😉 albums...no filla at all.

I told you I exaggerated.

Also Band on the Run isn’t a Beatles album. It’s Paul McCartney and Wings.

The best McCartney album post Beatles is the first one. McCartney. He played all the instruments himself. Linda sang some harmonies. It pissed off the other Beatles because he released it before they told the world John Lennon quit.

BOTR is a great album though. Ram and Wildlife are the first two Wings albums and they’re bad ass too.
 
All the Beatle solo LPs, as good as they are, prove one thing. The whole was greater than the sum of the parts.

Lastly - the best 'fire a band member line' - "We've decided that it's time you started your solo career."

I did know about Band On The Run being Wings...this is why I put the wink emoji after the Beatles in my post.

For me Band on the Run is his masterpiece. Subjective of course and given he has done so much it's always going to be the case.

It's considered by many to be his masterpiece and I certainly ain't taking anything away from it. I just personally gravitate towards songs like Every Night, Junk, Teddy Boy, Too Many People, Monkberry Moon Delight, Beware My Love, 3 Leg, Wildlife, etc.

McCartney was a big influence on me growing up and is one of the reasons I always played a 4001. That said, the last time he wrote a song that was even remotely listenable was No More Lonely Nights and that was what, 1985 or so.

One - he's got no real rebuttal but just HAS to reply with something.
Two - there's some obscure reference he thinks is 'smart' and funny - his own little in-joke that makes us outsiders because we aren't 'in'.

He's working at a middle school level of thinking. Realize that, and it all falls into place.

Now, what are the odds *I* get another photo when he quotes this post? I'm thinking pretty damn good. The only reason he won't now is because I've predicted it.

100% correct...the hive mentality here amongst a few is pitiful.

They claim to support freedom and all I ever see is fascism. Sounds extreme but the definition of the word describes their behaviour.

Grown men who present as under-developed and they're so ignorant they can't see it.
