While it's impossible to match the original (absolute classic)...I'm kind of digging this cover. What do you guys think of this rhythm guitar tone? I like those grindy upper mids...Think that's a real amp, or modeler?

Cool guitar tone fo sho...The vocals pale in comparison to the original.

I dig the guitar sound more and more...Halford did a good job, but Udo's timber, phrasing and vocal character is very hard to mimic.

i see Zeuss produced this, he was big in the early 00s for his drum editing everyone wanted at the time, you'd put on headbangers ball and half the bands were done by him

I think what I like the most about the guitar tone (particularly noticeable in the opening riff) is that it that the tone presents as a a higher gain, slightly more more "modern" sounding version of the original track...They really did a good job of capturing that original grinding upper mid character...And the original version is one of the finest examples of Marshall tone from that era in my opinion.

Agree 100%, BTTW is one of my favorite guitar tones of all time.
I could listen to the opening riff of “Turn Me On” on a loop for hours. Lol
