Old Lynch scorpion cover. Really great tone!

I still think the original is better, just cuts and pops more for me but this was for sure an awesome version and Lynch clearly had his old ears for tone in this one because it cuts way more on the leads and he plays with that fire.

Also for the record, Jabs had some of the best recorded tones on his early albums with the Scorpions. The absolute king of the lead break fill between the verses and choruses. Nobody filled the space like he did in that musical of a fashion. It is almost his trademark. Nuno was the only other guy that threw in tasty tidbits between verses and choruses but Jabs just had "it".
 
Just listening to Blackout again now and i never realized how much of the Michael Schenker influence is there.. almost all the leads are totally a wah pushing the upper mids and very likely the amp tone controls dialed back to compensate. If you roll back the tone knob on the guitar in affects the gain. So cool. bitchin old school tones that cut.
